Three drug dealers caught after crashing near Peterborough
Police were called to a crash before discovering a hidden bag with more than £10,000 in cash inside

Three men have been sentenced after officers found more than £10,000 of drug money stashed near the scene of a crash in Peterborough.
Joshua Munton, 24, Harvey Webb, 21, and Miles Starbuck, 19, have been sentenced for a number of drug offences.
Peterborough Crown Court heard how officers received two separate iPhone crash activations close to Peterborough at about 6pm on 27 June 2024.
They arrived to find a car that had crashed on the southbound slip road of the A1 near Stibbington.
Munton was found on the ground by the car with significant cuts to his face and a suspected broken hip.
Webb, who was driving, was also by the car, but Starbuck was not.
Officers searched the area and found him topless and covered in blood walking out of nearby woods.
They later found a Louis Vuitton bag perched up against a tree with £10,730 in cash, a balaclava, three sets of keys and a bank card not in any of the men’s names inside.
The bag had DNA from both Webb and Munton on it.
Further investigations
Investigations into the three men later revealed they had tens of thousands of pounds each in various bank accounts.
The money could not be accounted for.
Munton had £30,000 in three different bank accounts.
Starbuck had more than £45,000 in his bank, a Rolex watch and more than £5,000 in cash.
Webb had nearly £20,000 in his account.
Detectives also found evidence of drug dealing on their phones.
The sentences
Webb, of Bramble Grove, Stamford, Lincolnshire, pleaded guilty to:
- concealing criminal property
- being concerned in the supply of cocaine, ecstasy, cannabis, ketamine
- possessing criminal property
- and causing serious injury by careless driving
He's been given a two year jail sentence, suspended for two years.
He must complete 100 hours of unpaid work and a 20-day rehabilitation activity requirement, and has been banned from driving.
Starbuck, of Cloven Ends, Langtoft, near Peterborough, pleaded guilty to:
- concealing criminal property
- being concerned in the supply of cocaine, ecstasy, cannabis, ketamine
- and possessing criminal property
He has been sentenced to two years in a young offenders institute, suspended for two years.
He must complete 120 hours of unpaid work.
Munton, of Ironmonger Street, Stamford, Lincolnshire, pleaded guilty to:
- possessing and concealing criminal property
- being concerned in the supply of cocaine, ecstasy, cannabis, diazepam, and ketamine
He has been jailed for five years.
The court took into account another case relating to an unprovoked stabbing in Stamford.
