Man charged after Stamford stabbing

A man was stabbed at least three times on Friday night (12th December)

Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident

A man has been charged after a man was reportedly stabbed on Friday night (12th December) in Stamford.

A second man has also been arrested, but not yet charged.

Officers say they received reports at around midnight on Friday that a man had been stabbed multiple times between Red Lion Square and Sheep Market.

A man in his 20s suffered three stab wounds.

The injuries are not life-threatening.

24-year-old Joshua Munton has been charged with wounding with intent and possession of a bladed article.

Another 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding.

Officers say they're not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
