Peterborough residents receiving NHS and social care across the city will get an opportunity to share their views with Healthwatch over the next few days.

From April 27 to May 1, the renowned health and social care championing organisation will be out-and-about across the city and the wider region as part of its Patient Experience Week initiative.

Healthwatch teams will be visiting hospitals, GP practices, and community locations across Peterborough, Wisbech, Huntingdon and Cambridge over the coming week to speak with patients, carers, and visitors.

Their aim will be to build a clear picture of what is working well in local services and identify where any improvements are needed.

The teams are keen to hear from anyone who would like to share their experiences of:

  • GP practices and community services
  • Hospital care and discharge processes
  • Mental health and neurodevelopmental pathways
  • Dentistry and urgent care access
  • Support services in the community and at home

Healthwatch believes that gathering authentic and accurate feedback in real time is an integral way to highlight both the challenges people face and the positive examples of good care that deserve recognition.

If you’d like to meet the teams and have your say then this where they can be found over the coming week:

  • Botolph Bridge Health Centre (Peterborough) – Tuesday April 28: 11:00–15:00
