A drug dealer running the ‘Lucky’ line has been jailed for more than four years.

David Adupa, 26, was found to be dealing heroin and crack cocaine across Ely between September 2024 and January this year.

The 26-year-old was also sentenced following an altercation outside the Hereward Pub, in Market Street, on 16 October 2023.

Adupa was fighting with two men when he left the location and walked into Millennium Pizza in Chequer Lane and grabbed a kitchen knife before returning to the pub.

At Peterborough Crown Court on Friday (3 October) Adupa was sentenced to four years and four months in prison after pleading guilty to being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine, affray, possession of a knife in a public place and two counts of criminal damage.

Detective Sergeant Simon Boast said: “This sentence sends a clear message that drug dealing and the carrying of knives and weapons will not be tolerated. We will continue to target those who bring misery and violence to our communities and bring them to justice.”
