A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a reported stabbing in Millfield.
Emergency services were called out to Windmill Street just before 11am yesterday (8 June) following reports of violence.
They arrived to find a man with stab wounds.
He was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Officers believe this incident to be isolated with no wider threat to the public.
They're now appealing for anyone with information to contact them by calling 101 quoting incident 142 of 8 June.
