Man jailed after stabbing in Peterborough centre

A man has been jailed for 16 months after stabbing someone in Peterborough city centre after they rang the bell on his e-scooter.
44 year-old Kris Stimson of Greenham, Bretton, Peterborough, was at the takeaway in Fitzwilliam Street at about 2am last June stabbed the man to the abdomen, before leaving the scene.
The victim underwent surgery, was placed in an induced coma and required further treatment for several weeks before being discharged.
He admitted assault causing grievous bodily harm without intent and possession of a knife in public.
