A man from Stamford has been charged with multiple offences following an investigation into reports that vulnerable people had been sexually assaulted at an elderly residential care home in the Stamford area.
Officers had received a report on 19th June that a woman has been sexually assaulted at the facility.
Joshua Kearney, aged 35, of Cornstall Buildings has been charged with three counts of rape and three counts of sexual activity with a mentally disordered female.
He has appeared at Lincoln Magistrates' Court today (28th July) and has been remanded into custody for a hearing at Lincoln Crown Court on 26th August.
Lincolnshire Police said:
"We are not naming the care home at this stage due to the risk that the victims could be identified. Victims of sexual assaults are afforded anonymity for life under legislation.
"The victims and families are being supported by officers, and our investigation is ongoing".
