Man charged after failing to stop for officers
It happened on Sunday
A 20 year-old man has been charged with dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, possession of drugs, failing to stop and driving without insurance.
The driver of a silver Ford Focus was first seen by officers, on the A153 at Sleaford, at around 4pm, on Sunday 13 September.
He was requested to stop, but didn't and then continued to fail to stop for a further 10 miles. The man was arrested, when his car stopped working and he pulled over in a lay-by, near Tumby.
Finn Weston, of Derwent Drive, Oakham, Rutland, has been charged with five offences and will appear at Lincoln Magistrates Court on Tuesday 15 September.
