High-flying BMX stunt show comes to Market Deeping today
The event brings aerial stunts, creative workshops and bike security marking to the town’s BMX track
Some of the country’s leading BMX riders are in Market Deeping today for a free stunt show packed with ramp tricks, aerial displays, spins and backflips.
The event is taking place at Market Deeping BMX Track, with two performances planned - one at half past eleven this morning and another at one o’clock this afternoon.
As well as watching the riders, families can take part in sticker and badge-making workshops led by local artist Bethany Bealby.
The activities are designed for all ages, giving people the chance to create their own bike-inspired designs.
There will also be free bike security marking kits available for visitors who bring their bikes along. The markings can help reunite owners with their bikes if they are stolen.
Paul Stokes from South Kesteven District Council said:
“Some of the UK’s top riders are coming to Market Deeping for what promises to be a thrilling showcase of skill, courage and creativity."
“We’re bringing visitors the perfect blend of precision, excitement and family-friendly fun, with plenty happening off the track too.”
