Health bosses say there are no plans to axe Rutland Memorial Hospital.
A review into healthcare is taking place in the region.
Health bosses are reassuring people that they don't have any plans to axe Rutland Memorial Hospital and are committed to protecting it.
It's after the county's MP, Alicia Kearns, called for a sustainable and long-term plan for healthcare across the area.
She also expressed her disappointment the ongoing Better Hospitals consultation does not have more of a focus on Rutland.
In response, the Clinical Commissioning Group says it will be engaging with Rutlanders early next year and has plans to refurbish or develop new facilities and deliver as much care as possible locally.
