Four arrested in connection with Stamford burglary and drugs offences
Police are investigating after suspects were stopped in Deeping St James
Four people, including a teenage boy, have been arrested on suspicion of burglary and drugs offences after being stopped by police in Deeping St James.
Officers pulled over the vehicle the group was travelling in at 9.35pm on Saturday, 22nd November. All four were taken into custody.
The arrests are linked to an alleged burglary which took place on Friday, 21st November, in Walcot Way, Stamford.
The arrests are as follows:
A 19-year-old man from Market Deeping was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and burglary.
A 19-year-old man from Peterborough was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, burglary, and drug-driving.
A 20-year-old man from Glinton, near Peterborough, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and burglary.
A 17-year-old boy from Market Deeping was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and burglary.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw suspicious activity or who has dashcam or CCTV footage from Walcot Way between 6.30pm and 7pm on 21st November to contact them.
