A drug dealer has been jailed for almost four years.
26 year-old Ahmed Hassan of Dogsthorpe Road, Dogsthorpe, Peterborough, was arrested after neighbourhood officers carried out a warrant at a flat in Oxford Road, Millfield, Peterborough in June last year.
Officers found a ball of class A drugs in Hassan’s pocket, comprising 124 wraps of cocaine and 26 wraps of heroin.
26 year-old Chloe Henson, of Oxford Road, Millfield, was sentenced to two years in prison, suspended for two years. She is also required to carry out a six-month drug rehabilitation requirement, ten-day rehabilitation activity requirement and six-month electronic monitoring.
PC Olly Holmes, from Peterborough’s Central Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Following the warrant at the address, the team secured a partial closure order on the flat as part of our work to tackle drug dealing in the area.
“Drug use and associated criminality remain a priority for us, and I urge those with concerns to report them.”
