Kruk was in a black Volkswagen Passat, had just gone through the drive-through, and appeared to be drunk.

He initially blew 86 in a roadside breath test – more than twice the legal limit of 35 – but he refused to provide an evidential sample in custody.
Kruk, of Heltwate, Bretton, Peterborough, appeared at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on Friday (25 April) where he admitting failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis and was banned from driving for three years. He must also pay a £415 fine.
PC Harry Johnson, who investigated, said: “Thanks to the swift action of staff at McDonalds, we were able to catch Kruk in the act and take him off the roads before any harm could be caused to other road users.
“Being under the influence of drink or drugs, no matter the amount, can impair your ability to drive safely. There is no excuse for being over the limit.”
