The Peterborough City Council elections have resulted in significant shifts within the council's composition, remaining in a state of no overall control.

The Conservative Party has overtaken Labour to become the largest party, increasing their number of councillors from 10 to 13.

Labour saw a decrease, reducing their representation from 13 councillors to 11.

Reform UK made a notable entrance into the Peterborough political scene, expanding their presence from one to five councillors.

The Liberal Democrats maintained their previous numbers, while the Green Party grew slightly, adding one more councillor.

Peterborough First and independent councillors both saw a reduction, each losing two seats.

The new composition of the council is Conservative with 13 seats, Labour with 11, Independent with 9, Peterborough First with 8, Green with 6, and Reform UK with 5.

Despite the changes, the council remains without overall control, illustrating a diverse political environment within the city following the elections.
