Clean up continues after houses flooded in Greatford near Stamford
They were among a number of properties in South Lincolnshire impacted by Monday's rain and snow
This morning - the clean-up is continuing for many people in the region after homes were hit by floods.
South Lincolnshire saw a number of houses flooded in places like the Bourne area.
We went to Greatford near Stamford to speak to one family about the damage caused to their house.
They told us: "All the carpets are gone - they're in a big pile behind me on the drive.
"Skirting boards, kit boards in the kitchen - the kitchen's only a couple of months old."
"There's electrical items - plus a three piece suite and soft furnishings."
Some flood warnings remain in place across the region
"We waited for the water to drop - a little bit - then we just started slicing the carpets up and chucking them out."
"Luckily some of the neighbours came round to give us a hand."
"We're getting everything recovered and cleaned - you just have slurry on the floor which is going to been cleaned before we do anything else."
Meanwhile river levels are coming down in some places but there are still a small number of flood warnings in place with rivers struggling to cope with Monday's rainfall.
There's one near Peterborough and others close to Bourne and Market Deeping.
Meanwhile the ambulance service that covers parts of the region remains in critical incident status partly due to weather related issues but also high health demands.
