An 8 million pounds investment into Lincolnshire firefighters, including those in Stamford, is hoped to make them the best equipped and protected in the country.
Stamford recently got a new fire engine.
It has state of the art units to tackle fires from the outside of building and other enclosed spaces.
The stations is also looking for new recruits.
