Police have see a forty two percent increase in violent offences causing injury across the Lciestershire and Rutland region during lockdown.
They recorded two thousand six hundred and one incidents from April to June this year.
But thanks to offences such as burglaries dropping by almost a half the overall crime rate in the area went down by thirteen percent during lockdown.
The force is still concerned by those areas where there was a rise.
