Concerns have been raised after reports of young people entering a disused hotel on South Street in Leominster over the last couple of weeks.

Damage has reportedly been caused to doors and windows as access is gained to the building. Police are looking into the damage caused and working with the owners to secure the building again.

Parents have been asked to speak to their children about the dangers of entering abandoned buildings like this. Authorities have highlighted concerns about the property’s poor state and the risks involved, warning it could lead to serious consequences.

Police patrols have been active in the area and officers have said they will take action if any individuals are found on the site.

They are urging witnesses to call if anyone is seen entering the property.

The Leominster Safer Neighbourhood team is asking for conversations to be had at home to help keep young people safe.
