Worcestershire's pre-season tour of Oman cancelled

Worcestershire County Cricket Club have confirmed their planned pre-season tour of Oman has been cancelled.

This is due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

A club statemnent said:

"The safety and wellbeing of our players and staff is paramount, and this decision has been taken following a careful review of the current situation.

Alternative plans are now in place, with the Club set to undertake an intensive pre-season training programme in the UK ahead of the new season."
