Worcester Wolves' men's team head coach has said he is "excited" to see them have the chance to seal their spot in the end of season play-off final this evening (11 April).

The side face Manchester Magic at home after beating London Stars 86-72 in the quarter-finals.

It's after they were crowned champions of Pool A of the National Basketball League Division One last month following a 81-69 away win over St Helens Saints, going unbeaten at home over the course of the regular season.

They've met the Manchester side twice over the course of the campaign, winning the first encounter in November before losing the other one away in February.

Ahead of the match, head coach Dean Blake said his team were ready for it and highlighted the importance of them staying focused throughout.

"A lot of teams wanted to be where we are." he said.

"It's the semi-final of the play-offs and there's only four teams left in the whole country playing at our level so I'm very excited for the opportunity.

"There's no situation where we can be asleep for three of the four quarters and wake up in the fourth and win the game, we're going to have to be awake and alert for the whole game."

The game gets underway at the University of Worcester Arena at 7:30pm, with the winner set to face either Solent Kestrels or Barking Abbey in the final who are both from Pool B of the division.
