Worcester opponents "accept responsibility" after coach's red card

Cornish Pirates say they fully accept their part in an incident during Saturday's game versus Worcester Warriors which led to joint head coach Alan Paver being sent off.

It's reported he was involved in an altercation with an opposition player during the game.

A statement from the Pirates says:

"We accept responsibility for our part in the incident, the actions taken and acknowledge the seriousness of the matter. We will fully engage with the RFU’s disciplinary process, where all context and circumstances will be appropriately reviewed. Our priority is to respect the due process and learn from this event."
