Worcester City Women's Player Jess Fassnidge is inspired and influenced by the England Team.

England are due to play Spain this evening in the Womens's Euro 2025 Final.

So far in the competition England lost their opener to France, bounced back with wins against The Netherlands and Wales, then went to penalties against Sweden Before beating Italy to secure a place in the finals.

Jess told us it's both exciting and daunting to see England in the final:

"The impact it could have on women's football again is almost just kind of putting a flag in ground and saying we're here, we're here to prove a point, we're here to send a message, we're here to show you that women's football in this county isn't going anywhere and if anything we are so much more on the rise more than we have ever been."

They take on Spain who have been impressive from the start winning all of their matches to reach a first-ever UEFA Women's EURO final.

Jess added:

"If you do want to play get in touch with local schools, colleges, teams, communities and clubs and if you think actually I don't want to play but you love the women's game, but I would love to get involved, go and shadow people, if you're a teenager and want to get into the business side, go and shadow people and see where you can intern. Just get involved."
