A man in his 30s has been arrested
A woman in her 80s has sustained serious injuries after a collision in Leominster this morning.
The collision between a car and a pedestrian on a mobility scooter happened at around 10:40am this morning (December 16) on Westfield Walk.
Police say the pedestrian, a woman in her 80s, suffered serious injuries after the car collided with her when leaving a parking bay.
A man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of causing injury through careless driving and on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.
Officers are asking for any witnesses to get in contact and for anyone who may have been driving along Westfield Walk at the time of the collision to check their dashcam footage.
