West Mercia Police says it is continuing its work to reduce the number of those on two wheels that are killed or seriously injured on roads.
In the last three years, the force say across West Mercia 41 people lost their lives in collisions involving a motorcycle and 313 people were seriously injured.
A further 2 people died and 164 were also seriously injured in collisions involving a bicycle.
The force is supporting a national operation this month aimed at highlighting and raising awareness of the work roads policing officers, local policing teams and communities do every day to tackle these issues.
Roads policing inspector Darren Godsall says road safety remains a key focus area for them.
He said: "Keeping people who use our roads across West Mercia is a priority for us 24/7 all-year round and it's our priority to reduce the number of people killed and seriously injured on our roads.
"It's just being mindful that these vulnerable users are on our roads and to pay extra attention for them during the summer and to give them the space which they're afforded through the Highway Code.
"Also though it's about educating those who ride motorcycles and pedal cycles, so making sure that your bike is safe, make sure it's maintained, make sure that you're wearing protective clothing so that you can be seen."
As part of the operation new THINK BIKE posters have been put up along key motorcycle routes to raise awareness to both motorcyclists and other road users of the importance of looking out for each other.
