University of Worcester students have been working together to shine a spotlight on the importance of living sustainably for the planet.

Its been holding its annual Go Green week that runs from the 9 February, which has been taking place for several years on the second week in the month.

The event was set-up to educate people on the topic through various displays and pieces of work to show how different methods can help the environment.

On some of the key messages behind this year's one, the university's director of sustainability Katy Boom said: "We know we have a climate emergency and it's really important that we don't want people to feel overwhelmed.

"We want to show people that actually they can all do small changes to how they live, how they study, to make actually quite a significant difference.

"Everybody has to live their life, but if people can just do one or two things differently about how they travel, how they heat their homes, how much water they use, those are the kind of little messages we're asking for from all our communities."

It finishes on the 14 February.
