Two men from Worcester have been sentenced to three years in prison for selling class A drugs.

Adam Gocman, 18, of Dunmow Avenue, Worcester, and Richard Nicklin, 23, who has no fixed abode, were sentenced at Redditch Crown Court on Friday, 20th March.

Their arrest occurred after Proactive CID officers executed a warrant at a property in Glenthorne Avenue on 28th January.

Inside, police found 112 grams of crack cocaine, 27 grams of heroin, phones, £1,000 cash, and a hunting knife.

Both Gocman and Nicklin were convicted of possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine.

The court ordered the forfeiture of cash and the destruction of drugs, phones, and any drug-dealing paraphernalia.

DC Paul Luke of Worcester Proactive CID said: “We are pleased to have got Gocman and Nicklin behind bars relatively soon after the warrant in which they were arrested.

“This means two more drug dealers - whose actions cause harm and misery to our communities - off the streets and more disruption to those narcotics supply chain.

“Members of the public can be our eyes and ears on the ground in the fight to keep the streets free from such criminals.”

Police are encouraging the public to report any suspicions of drug dealing to the police or anonymously to Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111 or online.
