Three bailed after 'group of people with weapons' spotted in Worcester

Three people have been bailed following reports of a 'group of people with weapons' in Worcester.

We're told it happened on a residential road yesterday afternoon (April 7).

West Mercia Police told us: "Armed officers were called to an address on Canterbury Road yesterday (Monday 7 April), around 12.30pm, after we received a report of a group of people with weapons.

"Two baseball bats, two knives and a knuckle duster were recovered during a search.

"A 20-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon.

"A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray and racially aggravated harassment.

"All three people have been released on police bail as enquiries continue."
