Three people have been arrested with a large quantity of nitrous oxide cannisters seized after officers executed a drugs warrant in Rubery.

Officers carried out the raid at a store in New Road.

Inside, they found 107 one litre cannisters of nitrous oxide along with other paraphernalia, such as balloons and bags used for distribution were all found.

PC Max Unitt of Rubery SNT said: “Yesterday evening we executed a misuse of drugs warrant at a shop in Rubery following intelligence work and community concerns over suspected illegal activity in the area.

“Three people were arrested and are helping officers with their investigation.

“We will always act upon information given to us where appropriate as we work together with partners to tackle the sale of illegal drugs and the harm they cause on our communities.

“We’re grateful for the continued support from our local community - many of whom told us they wanted action taken. Your information helps us make a real difference.”
