Three arrested after assault in Worcester

Police have made three arrests after a man in his 50s was assaulted in Worcester yesterday (January 29).
Officers were called to the scene on Swinesherd Way in Whittington at around 4:30pm.
A man was found with injuries and taken to hospital.
Two boys, both aged 15, and one man aged 18, were later arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
They remain in police custody.
Sergeant Julieanna Barker said: “We are appealing for witnesses who may have seen a middle-aged man get assaulted by a group of youths on Swinesherd Way, Whittington at around 4.30pm yesterday (Thursday).
“We know there were several calls made to police and there have been some social media posts relating to this so we are asking for anyone who saw the incident or may have phone camera or dash cam recordings to come forward.”
