Despite the wet weather, it didn't dampen the Prince of Wales' spirit on his visit to a Hereford farm today.

His Royal Highness was on a tour of Lower Blakemere Farm, one of the Duchy of Cornwall's seven focus farms.

It was part of seeing how they're playing their part towards net zero.

The Prince of Wales didn't shy away from getting involved either - by checking through compost and having a go on machinery for grain production.

Phil Gorringe is the owner of the farm, he said: "It's a huge honour that he comes out and his father before him to come out and see what we're up to.

"It's a privilege."

After a look around the farm, His Royal Highness headed over to see the River to Ridge project.

That works on nature recovery and making the landscape more resilient.

Del Jones in the project manager, he said: "It's fantastic to see him out on site and seeing him getting involved with all the farmers and different stake holders."
