Appeal as teenager suffers serious injuries in assault in south Worcestershire

An appeal for information has been launched after a 17-year-old boy suffered serious injuries in an assault on Saturday (April 26).

We're told the victim was riding his e-scooter on Dilmore Lane at around 9pm and was assaulted by a group of unknown men.

Police add he fell from the e-scooter and sustained serious injuries to his abdomen and was taken to hospital to be treated, and has since been discharged.

Detective Inspector Natalie Arrowsmith from south Worcestershire said: “As you would expect, officers have been carrying out several lines of enquiries to identify those involved.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, might have relevant dashcam footage or has information which might help us in our investigation.
