Teenager stabbed in Worcester property leading to a man's arrest

Police investigating incident on Northfield Street

Police have responded to an incident overnight following reports of a 16-year-old boy being stabbed inside a property in Northfield Street, Worcester.

They have confirmed that a 21-year-old man has now been arrested.

Police say they were called to the address shortly after 11.40pm on 17th August following reports of the stabbing.

The teenager was found with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Police Investigation

The man arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm is currently in police custody.

Officers are expected to have a heightened presence in the area today as they continue to conduct enquiries related to the assault.

According to police, the incident was confined to the inside of the property, and there is no perceived risk to the wider public.
