Four men have been taken into custody following a burglary in Cotheridge, Worcestershire.

The incident, which occurred yesterday evening, led to the arrest of suspects aged 18, 19, 27, and 31.

A report was received shortly after 8pm, prompting authorities to take swift action as multiple suspects were seen leaving the area.

The suspects were located at a petrol station in Worcester where their vehicle rammed a police car before they fled.

They were quickly apprehended by officers, thanks to assistance from a police dog and the national police air service.

Detective Inspector Ben Pearson said, “Burglary is very intrusive and distressing crime, and one which we take incredibly seriously."

“Our enquiries into this incident, and an attempted burglary nearby at a similar time, are ongoing."
