Section of Battenhall Park in Worcester cordoned off by police
A section of Duck Brook Pedway has been closed as officers attend the scene
It's being reported this morning (7 July) that police have temporarily closed off a section of Battenhall Park in Worcester.
Police vehicles have been spotted on Springfield Road opposite the children’s play area, with residents in the area being advised to find alternative routes.
On social media, St Peter's Parish Council said: "Worcester police have closed a section of Duck Brook Pedway between Duck Brook bridge and Cherry Orchard Primary School.
"Police vehicles are parked in Springfield Road opposite the children’s play area.
"It’s recommended that any St Peter’s residents planning to use the pedway today find an alternative route."
