West Mercia Police have launched an appeal following reports of anti-social behaviour in Evesham.

The incident happened on Bridge Street on Tuesday (22 July), with officers called to reports of harm to animals on the water with a catapult.

Police attended and a teenage boy was searched but the catapult was not found.

PC Lee Baker said: “We are continuing to investigate, and are reviewing CCTV footage. We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the vicinity of Bridge Street and Abbey Park yesterday and who may have information. We are particularly keen to speak to a teenage boy who was seen wearing a neon pink t-shirt.

“Please call 07980956703 or email [email protected] if you can help with our enquiries.

“We will be carrying out additional patrols in the area to prevent anti-social behaviour."
