No injuries reported after two-car crash involving police

A police car, responding to an urgent call, was involved in a crash with Worcester Bridge last night (3 March).

The incident occurred in the city centre shortly before 8pm when the police vehicle collided with the bridge, followed by a second car, owned by a member of the public, hitting the police car.

Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.

An investigation is now underway to determine the circumstances of the collision.

Part of the road remains closed to traffic as officials work to clear the vehicles and ensure the area is safe for reopening.

Travelers in the area are advised to seek alternative routes until further notice.
