Police treating man's death in Worcester as "unexplained"

Police are investigating after the death of a man in Worcester.

Emergency Services were called to Darwin Avenue at around 6:30pm yesterday (5th May) after reports that a man was "seriously injured.'"

Despite the efforts of emergency services the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

West Mercia Police said they are currently treating the man's death as "unexplained" and enquires are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding his death.

The force have also confirmed the man was in his 30s.

A spokesperson for the force said: " We received a call around 6.20pm yesterday evening (Tuesday 5 May), reporting a man who was seriously injured on Darwin Avenue.

"Despite the efforts of emergency services, he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

"His death is currently being treated as unexplained, and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding how he died."
