Police investigate after man found with serious stab wounds in Hereford
An investigation is underway.
Police are asking for information after a man in his twenties was found with serious stab wounds in Hereford on Sunday night.
Officers were called to Kernal Road close to midnight - and the man was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
We're told there'll be a larger police presence in the area as investigations continue.
Inspector Kate Collett said: “We are carrying out enquiries after a man suffered serious injuries during an incident in Hereford last night, and we are keen to hear from anyone who may have information.
“We appreciate incidents of this nature can cause concern within the local community, but I would like to reassure residents that officers are conducting a thorough investigation to establish exactly what happened.
“There will continue to be an increased police presence in the area over the coming days while enquiries are ongoing, and I would encourage anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any information to contact us.”
