Police are appealing for information after a woman was reportedly knocked unconscious during a robbery in Kidderminster on Friday (3 October).

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Around 1pm a woman was walking along the canal towpath between Sainsbury's and the Post Office, just off Carpet Trades Way.

"The victim was approached by two boys on mountain bikes who were wearing dark clothing and face coverings.

"One of the boys kicked the victim meaning she fell to the floor which resulted in her being unconscious.

"When she got up from the floor her handbag had been stolen along with the contents inside."

Police are asking anyone who has any information that would help identify the two boys involved in the robbery to get in contact with them by emailing PC Lunnon on [email protected]
