Appeal launched after man found seriously injured beside bike in Herefordshire

76-year-old discovered on Rowden Lane in Winslow with life-threatening injuries

West Mercia Police are appealing for information after a man was found with serious injuries beside his bicycle in Herefordshire.

The incident happened on Wednesday 9 July, with officers receiving a report around 2.15pm that a man had been discovered on Rowden Lane in Winslow.

The 76-year-old was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham with life-threatening injuries.

Officers are working to establish the circumstances around the incident and are asking anyone who may have seen the cyclist beforehand, or who witnessed what happened, to get in touch.
