Woman sought over Pershore courier fraud involving £40,000
Authorities seek public help to trace woman connected to 2024 scam
Police are appealing for information to identify a woman in connection with a courier fraud case from 2024.
The incident involved an 89-year-old victim from Pershore defrauded of approximately £40,000.
The fraud took place between 15th April and 30th May 2024.
In both in-person and phone interactions, the victim was convinced by an impersonator posing as a police officer to hand over money.
The Regional Organised Crime Unit (ROCU) is leading the investigation and has issued an appeal for public assistance.
They say the woman in the image could help with their enquiries.
