The collision occurred on the westbound carriageway between junctions 3 (Portway/Redditch) and 2 (Alvechurch/Hopwood) at around 10.15pm.

Following the incident, police arrived at the scene where the pedestrian was confirmed deceased.

Efforts are currently underway to determine his identity.
