Police looking to trace driver following near-miss crash in Worcester
The car was travelling on Pershore Lane on Saturday night (21st April)
There's an appeal from West Mercia Police to trace a driver, following a near-miss collision in Worcester.
The vehicle involved was travelling along Pershore Lane at around 11.00pm and seen on dashcam footage overtaking on solid white lines on the brow of a hill, causing an oncoming car to swerve.
The video's come from the car forced to take evasive action as it approached the roundabout for Sixways Stadium.
It's been submitted to police, but officers haven't been able to identify the vehicle as yet.
Sergeant Emma Breay from Worcestershire Roads Policing Team said: “We are keen to speak to the other drivers in the footage and to see any dashcam video they might have.
“Thankfully, no one was injured during this incident however the outcome could have been very different.
“If you were driving the car which was seen overtaking, we urge you to get in contact with us.”
