Motorcyclist dies after collision near Honeybourne

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision which happened on Sheenhill Road

A man has died after a collision near Honeybourne on Friday evening (October 31).

A Honda motorcycle and a car - a Nissan Leaf - collided on Sheenhill Road at around 7pm.

The rider of the motorcycle – a man in his 20s - was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or saw either vehicle in the moments before, to please get in contact.

Inspector Col Robinson from the Operation Policing Unit said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who sadly lost his life on Friday.

“We would like to hear from anyone who saw anything which might assist with enquiries. Please email the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on [email protected] if can help.”
