Man sustains serious injuries after violent disorder in Worcester

Police are investigating a violent disorder in Worcester in the early hours of this morning.

It happened at around 1am at a property on Cranham Drive.

A man in his 30s sustained serious but not life-threatening stab injuries.

A 20 year-old woman and a 35 year-old man have been arrested.

Detective Inspector Dave Knight said “Our communities can expect an increased police presence in the local area as we carry out our enquiries. We would like to reassure people that we do not believe there is any threat to the wider community, and at this stage we do not believe this is linked to any other incidents.

“We have arrested two people in connection with the incident but would urge anyone who has any information to assist with our investigation to please get in touch.”
