Man found guilty of child sex offences in Kidderminster

A 55-year-old man has been found guilty of child sex offences following a trial at Worcester Crown Court.

A jury found Edward Riley of Pitway, South Petherton guilty of six counts of indecent assault on a girl under the age of 14 years, two counts of indecent assault on boy under the age of 14 years and two counts of inciting a boy under fourteen years of age to commit an act of gross indecency.

The offences took place in Kidderminster from 1982 - 1986.

Riley has been bailed to appear at Worcester Crown Court on 14 March for sentencing.
