Man dies in car crash in Herefordshire

Two others hospitalised following late-night incident

A man has died following a two-car collision on Tillington Road in the Burghill area of Herefordshire.

The incident occurred late on Monday night, prompting an emergency response from West Midlands Ambulance Service at 11.40pm.

The service deployed two ambulances, a paramedic officer, a MERIT trauma doctor with a critical care paramedic, and two BASICS doctors from the Mercia Accident Rescue Service to the scene.

According to a spokesperson from West Midlands Ambulance Service, three individuals were involved in the crash.

The driver of one of the cars sustained severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A second man, a passenger in one of the cars, was critically injured and transported to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further medical attention.

The driver of the second car was treated for injuries that were not deemed serious and was taken to Hereford County Hospital for evaluation.
