Man denies causing criminal damage by driving tractor through Tenbury Wells flooding

A man is to face trial, accused of causing criminal damage by driving a tractor through flooding in Tenbury Wells.

Simon Morgan, 58, of St Michaels in Tenbury Wells, has today pleaded not guilty of 16 counts of criminal damage.

The town suffered significant flooding last November, during Storm Bert.

Mr Morgan is accused of causing more than £100,000 of damage.

He is accused of driving a John Deere tractor through the flooded streets on November 24 last year, damaging several businesses in Market Street and Teme Street.

His trial is scheduled for January 2028.
