Man charged with armed robbery offences after incident at Herefordshire garage

A man has been charged with armed robbery offences after an incident at a garage on the A40 in Herefordshire.

Police were called to reports of an armed robbery at Lea Garage on the A40 at around 7:45pm on February 18.

Adam Hawkins, 44, of Hazel Road, Drybrook, Gloucestershire, appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates Court today (March 18) charged with robbery and possession of an imitation firearm in relation to the incident.

Hawkins was remanded to prison ahead of his next court appearance at Worcester Crown Court on Wednesday 15 April.
