Man charged after woman run over in Kidderminster
The charge relates to an incident outside the Hare and Hounds pub in Kidderminster on Saturday 1 March
A man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, after reports of a woman being run over outside a pub in Kidderminster over the weekend.
Aston Amos, 34, of Queens Road in Stourport-on-Severn has been charged, relating to the incident outside the Hare and Hounds pub.
It’s reported a grey Audi A4 hit a woman in the car park of the pub on Stourbridge Road at around 5.15pm.
The victim, a woman in her 30s, remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
Detective Sergeant Craig Tennant, of North Worcestershire CID, said: “This was a concerning incident which resulted in a woman sustaining significant injuries to her legs.
“We know there were a number of people around at this time and would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward and share that information with me at [email protected] quoting incident 323i of 1 March.”
Amos has been remanded to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court today.
